The premise behind Operation Love is wonderful, offering unique stories that follow the struggles three sisters go through to find true love when it is found in the one place they weren't looking for it or wanted it to be. This concept creates a tremendous collection of romance stories.
Alyssa Brooks starts this anthology off with Finding Orion, a humorous story of two friends that cross the line between just being friends and being lovers. Lily and Hunter live next to each other, spend all their time together, and end up sharing a night of passion. Only that one night of passion doesn't end the way Hunter had envisioned it would. Can he win Lily again even though he is destined for the stars or will he lose her now that he realizes she is what he really wants?
Melissa Schroeder brings Mano home only to find his little sister's best friend, Daisy, has grown into a woman. Neither Daisy nor Mano are looking for a permanent relationship and are enjoying each other's company. However, each of them forgot to include their hearts when the decision was made to only be friends. Will Mano and Daisy take a chance at love or run from the emotions they were not prepared for? Mau Loa Ko'u Aloha (Forever My Love) builds on this tremendous anthology by adding additional moments of humor, genuine emotions and tender romance.
Karen Monroe concludes this anthology with the last sister, Holly, and the Navy Seal that snuck up on her and her heart. Holly is determined to do her job only her newest patient doesn't want to cooperate. When passion erupts between them, two professionals must find a way to do their jobs and what they want. Can Holly get a man that keeps his secrets locked away to share them with her? Wounded Heart rounds out this anthology with another genuine couple, overwhelming emotions and passion.
Operation Love is a beautifully written collection of stories, each of which can stand on its own merit. These three authors have collaborated to create playful, romantic and genuine stories about sisters that promised they would never fall for a military man. However, some promises are just too hard to keep. When the man of their dreams enters their lives, the fact that they are military men is one the sisters would like to overlook. Alyssa Brooks, Melissa Schroeder and Karen Monroe have each earned a fan with this reader. I highly recommend each and every one of them and their story to anyone looking for a tender-hearted, compassionate love story. 5 military branches out of 5.
