Fleeing the area Dane Garrity loses virtually everything when a Romanian gypsy enters his life.
From a highflying job to packing his bags with reporters on his trail he had become the latest scandal. He regretted ever seeing and hearing the prophetic words of the fortune-teller, and going on the TV reality show where he made one of the biggest mistakes of his life…he proposed!
Trying to start a new life in a town named Manitou Springs he hoped his new life would be quieter until he meets the neighbor from hell, Piper. Fiery Piper won't let anyone undermine her and won't take any nonsense and when Dane Garrity gets his new job he has to investigate her. When his beautiful fiancé arrives on his door in Manitou Springs he wonders if life can get any worse, his location is out.
Piper detests Dane when she finds out her neighbor is secretly writing about her. Blazes appear between then and when Piper finds out about Danes fiancé she becomes even more bitter. Trying to understand and control her feelings would be easier if Dane Garrity wasn't being the nosy neighbor and hadn't betrayed her trust.
Like a meteor falling from the sky Dane's life crashes and it's one big mess, until he works out whom he really does love, and realizes maybe fate was playing a big part in his love life. For Dane, choosing his destined woman becomes obvious, getting her into his arms is a slightly more difficult task.
Love Thy Neighbor is an interesting read with an appealing plot. Love, passion and fame all appear in this book along with anger, outrage and surprises. Suzanne Marie Calvin has written a great book that should appeal to many romance readers and leave them with a bit of warmth in their hearts.
