Sarah- Jayne's character immediately grabs the reader's attention. She is a professional that takes care of her job even though it is extremely dangerous. She has guts and almost never second guesses herself. Dane is quick witted, intoxicating to both Sarah-Jayne and readers, and just might have a couple of secrets and skills up his sleeve. These two characters are wonderful together and the result from their meeting is explosive, an adrenaline high the likes of which Sarah-Jayne has never experienced.
Ferocious is a fast-moving, action-packed story with tantalizing passion to match. I was overwhelmed by Dane's presence and loved Sarah-Jayne from the very beginning. Sherri L. King did a wonderful job painting a picture of "a day in the life of Sarah-Jayne" within the first few pages. If only she would have known pork chops and applesauce were so deadly addictive. I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves a paranormal story, unbridled passion, suspense, and some hints along the way for something very intriguing. 5 weapons out of 5.
