Biologist, Lydia Cross, is in her glory. She is on an assignment in the vast forests of Maine to study the effects of the logging industry on the local moose population, a whole week of nothing but fresh air and solitude. When she meets a luscious lumberjack that evening, she begins to experience very vivid, very erotic dreams, or are they? Upon first glimpsing Lydia, dark and mysterious, Eric Raven is drawn to her in a way he cant ignore. Lydia senses a danger in her attraction to Eric but is unable to resist her desire. But something far more dangerous has taken up residence in the woods, Lydia is being threatened by Anthony Barack, an ancient evil who would have her, body and soul. Can Eric protect Lydia, and still fulfill his obligations to his family legacy, The Unkindness of Ravens?

Eric the Guardian is a dark, erotic tale with a cast of well-developed characters. Lydia is a strong, independent and often stubborn heroine. While Eric has a strong need to protect, revealing his sense of duty and devotion. The love scenes are beyond hot and there are plenty of them! This story is the second in a series featuring the Raven clan but the story has enough background information to be able to read it as a stand alone.  Great story, I couldnt put down.
