Susan Gibberman has penciled in June 24th, 2006 for the 2nd AuthorFest. This event is open to both local and out-of-state authors, big, small, self-published and e-book authors. Editors, PR agents and publishers are welcome! Last year we had 40 authors attend. We're hoping for the same amount or more. May 15, 2006 is the cut-off for guests.

Changes from last year. We're hoping to keep all the authors in the same room so no one misses the program. 45 minute sessions, 15 minute breaks, 1 hour (plus between panel breaks) for selling books and a lunch period. Hopefully, T.A. Stone can present a shorter version of his Boot Camp seminar. It's very important that all authors announce on their websites or in their newsletters that they're participating in the event and the public is invited to attend. The event will be held at: Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 South Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193.

Authors who wish to attend, email me the following information: Your name, your snail mail and email addresses, when you can mail me promotional material (I'll provide my address in a personal email), names of authors who may like to participate, updated one paragraph bio statement (for the program) and an author jpg. The deadline is May 15. All authors are welcome to network even if they aren't panel participants. Very interested in meeting writers organization chapter members and leaders.
