Diana tried to put her divorce behind her by moving to the little island off the coast of Grenada, which was part of her divorce settlement. The Cease and Sekkle Inn, which means stop and rest, became the focus of her attention and Dolce, the restaurant she took over, her home away from home. So imagine her surprise when her friends sent a video of her cooking into a reality cooking show and she became the next contestant.
Chance Kohler is a gorgeous man who knows his way around the kitchen as most of America has learned from his reality cooking show Fighting Chance. The show's premise is to pick a relatively unknown and create a competition with Chance in the kitchen. Mr. Talented has a bad boy reputation, but was loved by most everyone until last season's fiasco.
The two meet for the first time on the beach and are intrigued by each other. Competition is fierce and the sexual chemistry is explosive. But reality TV can often go too far and things come to a head when new revelations are revealed.
Dolce and Diana is a light hearted romance with a touch of spice. It is at its core a love story about two people both struggling to overcome past events that have shaped their lives. Diana is dealing with the emotional issues of divorce and trust, while Chance is still reeling from the last contestant's post season bids for attention, at any cost. It is sweet and sensual and this reader enjoyed it.
